Waiting for seminar to start. At six. Yes, six in the evening. The only good thing about evening classes is that I get to sleep the morning away, but then I feel like my entire day has been just sleeping and studying, which is somewhat bleugh!

(although it's I have to admit, out off all the Romantic poets out there, I am somewhat fond of Keats, even if he did think about immortality and negative capability a little too much)

Speaking of academics, my first two essays that actually counted towards my degree came back last week and to my utter shock, one was an A and the other a B+. *does a little dance* SOMETHING IS FINALLY GOING RIGHT! HURRAH! =D

Aaaaaand a brief, random side note: I have never been utterly captivated by a smile before, but Bradley James (Arthur Pendragon in Merlin) has succeeded wonderfully in changing that. It's so damn lovely! Seriously!!

EDIT: Alright, alright, I take that "I'm ditching Torchwood" thing back. Cos, well, since it seems like they ARE bringing it back, I'm very curious as to HOW they're gonna do it. Cpt. Jack and a new team, maybe a good couple of decades in the future when he can face Earth again? Who knows? But I am curious, and, well...okay, Ianto's dead. And that sucks. But a bit of time to calm down, and I'm okay. God knows  I wish it didn't happen, but I'm okay. Sorta. Just wishing we had more time to explore Ianto as a character and as his fast-developing relationship with Jack. Ah, well, Ianto Jones...never forgotten and always loved. RIP.

Well, here we go everyone, I've finally finished the first chapter of my Itachi/Sakura fic, and I had to scramble to update it before I started my shift at work so at least here I'll explain things a little better. I actually had to write this story for my Writing Fiction class and I quite liked the end result. I don't tend to do my own stuff, being a fanfiction person for the sheer enjoyment, and also that I don't want to ruin any original plot lines with bad writing, so fanfiction has helped develop my writing quite a lot.

Anyway, I thought I'd post it up and see what people thought. The people in my group loved it, so that must mean something? Right?! =S

OMG I freaking ache. My back, my feet, my legs--all from standing up at the tills for eight fucking hours. And I have to do it all over again tomorrow!! This job is going to kill me. >___<

Taking a much needed moment on the laptop before I whizz off to meet Naddy and the others for his bye-bye dinner of Chinese food~ good stuff.

Today I started my course and had my first lecture and seminar in Poetry and Prose (not my strong point, but the whole thing is giving a lot of emphasis on the historical context rather than the language aspect, so that's alright...) and it was pretty cool, even though I forgot my timetable so I had to ask a lecturer where the English lecture was being held (not my best moment, obviously!).

It takes me an hour and a half by tube to get to Uni, so I had to get up at seven a.m., and God that killed...also, for this term, I'm only there for Thurs and Fri, and then I have work (WHSmiths in Victoria, just started too!) on the weekends so basically my weekend is Monday to Wednesday. Strange world I'm living in...

Sakura/Itachi fic doesn't seem to be moving, but I'm trying my best. Oh, and yes, Portugal was dead boring. Lil sis was adorable for the two days I was with her and Dad (not that I ever saw the dearest idiot) which is AMAZING. Normally she's a total brat. ^__^;;

Rach...I'll be back on Sat...just survive until then...I know you can. Just keep writing White Light! XD

Hey guys, currently in Portugal in an internet cafe and my mother is impatiently waiting by my side so I'll make it quick. Just to let you know that I've FINALLY updated Contradicted and threw it up at three in the morning before running off to catch my flight. So I haven't read through it properly or anything, but hopefully it's good enough for everyone. Oh, and y'know...this is the last chapter. not including the epilogue. Which means two years of writing has nearly come to a close...wow...

TODAY was A-Level results day. To non-English folks, that's the equivilant of SATs or whatever. Anyway, I totally did not get what I expected--okay, no I lie, I got what I expected, bar one subject that dropped a grade. Such grades do not need to be revealed (except that I got a B in English, which, for fuck's sakes, I should've gotten an A in--and would've, if it wasn't for the most random E in Genre Studies. Everything else went fine!), and all that needs to be said is that I will be attending Brunel University from late September to study English with Creative Writing.

Anyway, besides all that, I have started both Contradicted and the new Sakura/Itachi fic, which really needs a name. Contradicted should be up soon. Sorry for the wait and all. 

Well, just thought I'd let you all know that, yes, I'm alive.

Spent a week in Spain with friends. Was good. Interesting. Managed to get sunburnt as well as tanned--which is rather typical--but oh well! It was a good week of relaxing by the pool.

Er, Contradicted fans, I'm trying my best to write, but the italics bit in the beginning just won't come, which pretty much halts the whole chapter. Also, I totally forgot to close the poll before I left for Spain, so somehow people got an extra nine days voting time. -_-;; Whoops. Well, it didn't really affect the results much...

Winner: Itachi.

Duh.

Dunno why I bothered, everyone's Itachi obsessed. Should've known! And I really wanted to do Gaara or Kakashi...Gaara came second. Kakashi last. Pah.

Anyway, that'll be up sometime soon. Just need to sort out a vague plotline and write the first chapter. Most likely, it'll be AU. The Sakura-joins-Akatsuki plot is brilliant, yet totally overdone.

Well, I just came back from a group interview for Waitrose, and my feet absolutely kill from those shoes I wore, and I'm feeling a tad urgh--which I will happily put down to that time of the month. So you lot had better be appreciating my writing at the moment. >_<

So, I just watched the newly released Hancock. Normally I don't do cinema, not unless it's something I'm dying to watch or I'm going with a group of friends, but superhero movie with a twist? And Will Smith? Count me in.

Will Smith is one of my fav. actors out there. He is seriously talented, and I've enjoyed nearly all the movies he's done. Not to mention, he's pretty damn fine to look at. So I watched it today with my mate Kittie (male, btw, so don't get confused there) and, wow, I actually wasn't disappointed!

Seriously, some damn brilliant acting by Smith, a twist that I wasn't expecting (which is amazing, since most twists are predictable to me) and, of course, the dramatic fight in central Los Angeles. Oh, and the best part? It's actually funny. A superhero movie that's funny. I kid you not.

So, definitely recommend you see it.

I actually started thinking about all my favourite actors out there this afternoon. Will Smith obviously...I adored I Am Legend, and Independence Day. Viggo Mortensen: his portrayal of Aragorn was just...*drools*. Josh Hartnett is plain gorgeous, and Lucky Number Slevin was so damn witty and sharp. Loved it. Morgan Freeman is utter brilliance. Johnny Depp, of course, because who could forget him? It's Captain Jack Sparrow! Who else? Ewan McGregor, because I just love him to bits and everything he does. Brendan Fraser, John Cusack, John Hannah and probably a few others that I can't think of at the moment.

On the TV side, David Tennant rocks my Doctor Who socks, and so does John Barrowman. And in the Joss Whedon 'verse: James Masters, Seth Green, Nicholas Brendon, David Boreanaz, Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk and probably some others.

This randomly turned into a list of my fav. actors. Hmm... 0.o

Anyone else panicking about the Doctor Who finale? David Tennant can't leave! I refuse to believe it!

MY EXAMS ARE OVER!!!

Yes, you heard right. My exams are finally over! Thank fuck for that.

Just had my English exam~ Genre Studies, the one I thankfully didn't really have to study for. It went...okay. But then with English exams, you just have to keep writing and hope for the goddamn best.

Anyway, I would be celebrating, but that comes tomorrow when everyone else has finished their exams as well, so instead I am watching the Portugal versus Germany game [Euro footie game, y'know]. And being Portuguese...I am currently swearing at the TV because WE ARE LOSING!!

We can do it. We can even it out, then win it. We're capable. But we're not going to, are we? ARGH!

I'm supposed to be not stressed anymore, but THIS GAME IS STRESSING ME OUT! -___-;
